Description
The Sphinx was a society created by Abbot Academy students to improve in "argument, elocution, composition and parlimentary law." Members were requried to pay dues and many contunued to pay even after graduation. This notebook is primarily the articles of the constitution and members of the society. Brown and red notebook with broken spine. Front cover detatched, back cover barely still connected to spine. Written in mostly black ink; notebook is partially filled. Measures: 6.5 inches x 8.5 inches.
