Early Journals and Student Work

This exhibit contains journals and notebooks from students who attended Abbot Academy between 1830 and 1880. These are some of the oldest items in the Abbot Academy Collection. For the purpose of sharing the lives and experiences of these women, the journals and notebooks have been scanned to allow comparisons to be made to the students of today.
