Additional Principal Correspondence

Correspondence of Donald Gordon and Philena and Phebe McKeens was selected for display here because of these principals' signficant impact on Abbot Academy's history.  Although the majority of the McKeen and Gordon correspondence has been digitized, additional incoming and outgoing letters in the physical collection have not yet been scanned. Bertha Bailey, principal of Abbot 1912-1935, along with her successor, Marguerite Hearsey, principal of Abbot 1936-1955, are two examples of other principals in the collection whose letters and speeches have not been digitized but are available in the Abbot Academy Collection.
